Silkroad Online: Fortress Wars Guide

June 19th, 2009

Silkroad Online Fortress Wars Guide is unveiled for us here. Now read it.

The Fortress War expansion has been out for over a year, yet I know that how exactly a successful takeover works is one of the biggest stumbling blocks to the transfer of control from one guild to another. Silkroad Fortress War is one of my favorite features, despite the awkward time, because how can you go wrong with two hours of straight group PvP? So bring your love of bashing the opposition, ’cause there are a lot of steps to go through between signing up to fight and being the holder of the fortress.

Preparations:

First, you need to get prepared. Signing up at the fortress administrator in Jangan is merely the beginning. You will need to buy a few supplies and organize your guild as well. Make sure you give fortress positions to people who are going to be there. If you gain control of the fortress, you will need those people to be able to function in order to be able to defend what you have just gained. Also, if you gain the fortress, it can be taken back if there is enough time before the end of the war, so you will need defensive items such as pills, barriers, bombs and repair hammers in addition to a command post. All of these are available at the fortress NPC in Jangan. Buy many stacks of barriers and repair hammers and give them to those who can use them. Buy some Man-hos (White Tigers) also because they are good for defending your command post from low level hammerers trying to destroy it. Every guild leader in your union can use them.

Make a plan. Have everyone get partied up and meeting in the same places. Make sure every single one of the guild leaders in your union has a command post and some Man-hos. The teleports open promptly at 19:00 hours Silkroad Standard Time and lasts for two hours. For me on the West Coast, that is 3 AM so there are a lot of people that will not be able to make it from both the US and Europe. Make certain that the people who are there are the one’s that have Silkroad Fortress War positions. You don’t want to be the guild that holds the fortress for 10 minutes because you weren’t organized enough to keep it! You only have 15 hammerers per guild so make SURE those are the people who are there and ready to get to work.

Once the teleports become active at 19:00 hours your first order of business is to set up your Command Post. Make sure you keep your union together. Even if you are friendly with other attacking unions, accidentally killing one of them because your Command Posts are right together can completely destroy a good plan with infighting. Your Command Post is your spawn point, so if you have a plan where you are attacking a certain gate, get as close to that gate with your Command Post ad you can. The defending union probably will still be inside their fortress, so you won’t need to set up a Man-ho right away. Once your Command Post starts getting attacked, it flashes on the map. Send a small band of non-hammerers with a high level guild leader to route them out and set a Man-ho to defend it.

Gates:

The most successful strategy is to set up a semi high level group of hammerers with high levels and low levels with knock back and knock down behind them to defend. You can see the health of the gates if you click on them. The defenders can repair so even if it looks like you are making headway, don’t lose hope if you notice that the gate gets healed. Only five players can repair a gate and they are spread out over three gates at Jangan Fort and two for Bandit Den Fort. They can also be interrupted though there is no outside indication that they are repairing. You may encounter barriers at the east and west side entrances of the Jangan Fort but they are low HP deterrents and shouldn’t slow you down much. One very successful strategy for defenders is to just open the gates when they get low because once a gate breaks it is broken forever. There isn’t much you can do to counter this. Try to stay organized and get as many people in that gate as you can before they shut and repair it to weaken them from the inside. Do not let your people run to the heart yet, there is much to do before you go near it.

Towers:

Once you are inside, there are towers to destroy. There may be barriers up but your hammerers should make short work of these. Only destroy the ones you must to get to the towers. Make sure you are attacking the correct ones! You can attack the buff towers also but these aren’t that important, so don’t bother. The towers that are located to the right, left and center around the Gate of Resurrection for Jangan Fort and at the Southwest and Northeast corners for the Bandit Den Fort are the correct ones. The defenders can make attacking these very difficult. Not only can they put barriers around them all, but the towers themselves attack you with fire, ice, lightning and darkness depending on what kind the defenders have set up. They can also be repaired like the gate so use lots of splash attacks to interrupt repairing.

Like the gates, once the towers are destroyed, they are destroyed for good and cannot be resurrected by the defenders. Take your time killing them unless it is close to the end of the war time. You want to be at the heart in the last 15 minutes or so of the war to prevent anyone else taking the fort or retaking it from you.

Heart:

Once all three towers are destroyed, its time to head for the heart. There will be barriers around it more than likely. Only destroy those needed to reach the center. Try to attack from the same side of a destroyed gate if at all possible to make rushes more efficient if your party gets wiped out. This is where having an intact Command Post becomes very convenient. The Center has a very strong attack. Of course it goes by levels (Click here to see the various damages it can inflict) of defense and damage but it has high freeze and frostbite probability. This is where those pills are so important. The heart can also be repaired so make sure you again use lots of splash attacks to interrupt potential repairers. Bring everything you got here but my advise would be to time the destruction of the heart as close to the end of the war as you can.

SUCCESS!

So you have destroyed the heart. Now for the tricky part. Everyone but the guild that did the most damage will be teleported out of the fortress war area. This is where strong ties with your allies are very important. All the gates, towers and heart go to level 1 and are whole again. You have to defend them from the previous owners and hopefully your allies are going to help you. The Fortress gives you a 5 minute grace period. Use this to put up barriers around the inside of the fortress. They are good for slowing people down and if you timed your attack correctly, the opposition wont have much time to get the fort back before the time runs out. Once Silkroad Fortress War ends, whomever is in control wins. You can also repair the gates if you granted your fortress war positions and gave out the proper items. If you lose the heart to another union, they will also have the same 5 minute grace period and if you run out of time getting back to the center to retake it, it’s a good way to run out of time and lose the fortress to an opportunistic guild.

On the Saturday following the war, you can withdraw the tax money that had built up over the previous two weeks. You can also change the tax % to whatever you wish at that time. There is a bug currently that causes the gold to go negative and make it impossible to withdraw but don’t worry, just leave it in and the following war you will b e able to withdraw the total amount when it rebuilds again. Don’t forget to upgrade your gates and towers after each week to better defend them!

In conclusion, the PvP is worth it. There is no other way in Silkroad Online to get such hardcore, intense fighting for two hours straight. Due to the sheer number of folks involved, it can be the most crazy PvP, dwarfing any guild war you could set up because there is no safe zone, no backing down. Win or lose, its fun!

So much about Fortress Wars Guide here. p.s.Without rom gold ? Need it in urgent? Glad to help you, please come here and get your cheapest gold with fast delivery now.

Professions and Fast WoW Power Leveling

June 19th, 2009

LOL, are you confused about the title? Do you know why I entitle this article as professions and fast WoW Power Leveling? If you are really curious about it, please read this post and you will know it. As we all know, good WoW leveling guides emphasize completing quests as the best way to level fast, rather than endlessly grinding away. And the best WoW Power Leveling guides take into account your character’s class (Hunter, Warlock, Priest, whichever) and integrate the class quests into the sequence they take you through. But that leaves one major area of character development. What about professions? Where do they fit into all this?
The sad truth is that professions don’t fit into a WoW Power Leveling system very well. That’s because there are just too many possible combinations. Think about it. With 10 character classes and 11 Primary Professions, that gives you 110 combinations right there. Add in the fact that you can have two Primary Professions, and up to three Secondary Professions, and no guide could realistically hope to integrate all the possibilities.
Does that mean you should ignore professions when you want to level your character quickly? It turns out that there’s a huge debate about this. You can find good arguments for working on your professions as you level your character. And you can find good arguments for ignoring professions until your character hits Level 70 or more. And you can find arguments for every possible permutation in between.
I think it really depends on your personality. Some people can’t stand the idea of ignoring all the minerals, herbs, and skins they encounter as they race up through the levels. Others like being able to blast through a profession quickly once their character is big and rich. Still others see the benefits of being able to craft their own gear as they go. In my opinion, you should decide which of these statements resonates with you the most, and follow the approach it suggests.
I know some gamers are looking for WoW Gold Guides to earn enough gold free. We have lots of practical wow gold guides here for you. The others may like to Buy WoW Gold which they consider it as a piece of cake, taking less time than making it in person. Well, congratulations, you are coming into the right place, we are offering Cheap WoW Gold as well, just place an order here and we will deliver what you want as soon as possible.

Warhammer Live Event: Rise of the Tomb Kings

June 19th, 2009

Well, here is the warhammer live event: Rise of the Tomb Kings.

Unable to prevent the initial desecration of the Land of the Dead, the forces of Order now take action to prevent Tchar’zanek’s army from achieving their goals there. Both sides are now locked in a race to Nehekhara-a race that will be won by the first side to successfully realize a faster, more secure method of transport: air travel.

All eyes turn to the capital cities where airship construction is underway, for if the airships do not launch, the battle for the Land of the Dead will be over before it could begin. The awesome forces of both armies now scramble to secure badly needed resources, eliciting a bloodbath the likes of which neither side could ever imagine.

Rise of the Tomb Kings is the third and final chapter in the Call to Arms! event story arc leading up to the release of the Land of the Dead dungeon this June. Rise of the Tomb Kings will pit the forces of Order and Destruction against each other in a resource-race to gain access to the Land of the Dead. The successful faction on each server will receive premier access to the dungeon a full day earlier than anyone else on the same server.

Though the primary reward for participation in this event is the chance to gain early access to the Tomb Kings dungeon, players who complete all ten Tome challenges will receive an exclusive title: “Sky Captain” for Order, and “Master of the Air” for Destruction. Some brave adventurers may even receive the Ravening Cloak, an ultra rare -drop item reward.

Exclusive early access to the Tomb Kings dungeon

Aion Preview: Aion First Look

June 19th, 2009

Aion First Look is here, let’s take a preview at Aion Online now. Sanya Weathers takes advantage of the recent NDA drop to tell readers about her experiences with the highly anticipated MMO from NCSoft.

If you take away one thing from this first look at Aion, I hope it’s this: Do not do what I did, and switch between Free Realms and Aion in the same playing session. Your brain will explode. But I’ll get to that in a minute.

Aion is big in the Far East. Really big. A localized, Westernized version is coming to North America this year. The development team behind the game is so confident they’ve got a hit on their hands that they allowed people to post screenshots from the beta event two weeks ago, and the NDA officially lifted on June 16th.

So what’s it like?

There is an unholy degree of character customization. For my female warrior, I had 44 hairstyles, 20 faces, and six bodies. There were 23 “premade” face/hair combinations. There were tattoo options. And there were 25 face sliders to customize everything from eyebrows to nose tilt. And there will apparently be voice options as well, although they were not functional while I was testing. There are also body sliders. Some people pushed those sliders aaaaaaaaall the way to the right, predictably.

When you’ve finished creating your character, and you choose the avatar to be played from the character group on the beach, your little simulacrum is extremely excited to be chosen.

It is fantastically gorgeous, with thousands of little details to gorge on. The landscapes are sweeping and epic. The animations look like they were done with motion capture, and within a few feet of the opening spawn point, you’re sure to find people testing their new emotes.

There’s much more variance in terms of the differences between male animations and female animations. Even at level one, combat animations are flashy and dramatic.

On top of all this, the spawn rate during the beta event was jacked to eleven, with millions of two legged rat things and thousands of armadillo things waiting to die. I logged in for the first time within an hour of the floodgates opening. Should have been a slideshow, right?

My machine is a dual core Dell (1.86 Ghz), ,,P, with two GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GTS. As I’ve said elsewhere, it’s two years old, and loaded up with every MMO in existence, half a dozen RPGs, and a crapload of my secret vice, puzzle adventures. While I was playing Aion, I had my email and IM running, as well as an image editing program open to crop screenshots on the fly. I did not attempt to play Aion on the road, so I only experienced the game on a Fios connection.

If it hadn’t been for all the people, I might have thought I was playing a single player game. I never had the slightest delay at any point, doing anything, over the course of several days. I cannot name a single MMO in my experience where that was true at launch, let alone beta!

The sound was phenomenal. It was gorgeous, lush, and did a lot to create mood. It never sounded repetitive at all.

While I did not get to experience either flight or fighting other people in my three day journey of discovery, I found plenty of evidence that neither is an afterthought. Anyone following this title for any length of time already knew that, but if you’re just now catching on to Aion: Koreans do not do PvP as an afterthought. The Asian market expects it to be an integral part of the game. The game is therefore not balanced by testing the PvE, and then tested for PvP at the last minute.

When you first log in, you’re invulnerable. After you finish a fight, you remain in combat mode for several of the longest seconds of your life. These are the most basic anti-exploit mechanisms possible, and you would be stunned at how many PvP betas I’ve encountered without them. Or maybe you wouldn’t be. Anyway, it’s not just that:

The interface has elements you can mouseover to see if someone’s in range, even flying people. The layout and location demonstrate that aerial combat is something the game was built around, as opposed to added into the game to sell a few extra copies.

Questing was both a disappointment and a wonder. Here is where I warn future Aion players to not even look at Free Realms. I was finishing up my FR review when the Aion event started, so I played both titles in the same hour. I swear that FR made me stupid. I kept looking for the green dots to lead me to each objective, I couldn’t find simple objects because they weren’t sparkling like a rapper’s front teeth, and I felt vaguely let down that killing a rat wasn’t a cause for fanfare, celebration, and text messages assuring me of my greatness. Instead, NPCs were openly insulting me, accusing me of sleeping on the job, of having no honor, of not caring about anyone but myself.

I got over it, mind you, but the disorientation persisted for a few minutes. The insult routine is a little odd, from a Western point of view, but it’s stemming from a cultural ideal where newcomers must prove themselves. Respect is earned, not granted. Just relax and level up; the peasants will respect you by level five.

It’s definitely not a Western MMO, even with all the cultural localization they’ve been doing. (That localization is not complete, or was not as of mid-June. Some of it is just funny - “We will not let you wretches to take the goal!” - and some of it’s annoying, such as when the Korean word for a particular object could be either of several English words, and the NPC uses both in a single line of dialogue.) It’s hard to put a finger on what makes it foreign, beyond the obvious stuff like the heckling. And the obvious stuff like the talking ferret. What is it with Asian games and talking furballs?

Anyway. Quests. The interface is marvelous. They don’t load up your quest journal with tons of data you may not need, but all the nouns can be clicked to feed you more information:

There’s a great waypoint system as well, where your destination of choice appears as a purple X, and as an arrow on the minimap.

The first few levels of quests, sadly, were mediocre at best. The standard “save the farm, kill the rats” material. When you’re done, you are solemnly thanked for solving a problem that clearly still exists. I should have taken a screenshot of the farmer thanking me for solving his armadillo infestation as one respawned directly under his pitchfork.

There’s no attempt at even hinting at the backstory (big apocalyptic event, sundered the world, erased your memory - got that from Google!), except that a few NPCs mention that you’ve lost your memory. The early quests don’t do anything to set up the situation, or to even create a vague sense of curiosity over what’s happened to you and your world. If you have played as many MMOs as I have, you are going to spend the first hour or two with a sense of “oh, god, not this again,” and you will be strongly tempted to go back to the world where you already did these levels.

Do not make this mistake.

I finally completed this one quest, you see, as an ordinary earthbound warrior. The talking tree snapped me to a cutscene. It was a “recovered” memory, and it was wonderfully done. The environment, the music, the dialogue, it all worked together to create a sense of mood and expectation. Before I could over think it too much, my character suddenly ran to the edge of a cliff and jumped. The sense of falling was rendered so well that my physical stomach lurched a little.

And then my angel wings snapped open, and I could fly. And kill.

I haven’t wanted to play an MMO until dawn in years, but I almost did that night. That quest marked a real turning point in the game. Many of the quests I got after that were better written, and the ones that weren’t, well, I didn’t mind so much. There was a new feeling to the game, like there was something I was working toward.

My Aion First Look was over much too soon. I’m looking forward to more. Tips: Fine, we possess plenty Aion Kina here, come here and get some if you need it.

The Fast Easy Way to Find a WoW Gold Guide

June 15th, 2009

Comparing with buy wow gold, some players prefer to make it with the guides of gold whether it is free or charged. Besides some free tips, the others are charged. So if you wanna buy some best wow gold guides, do a web search to try and find reviews before your purchase. This is good because it gives you a basic rundown of the good and the bad of the guide. Then I get all the reviews and try and figure out which one has the most positive reviews. Another way is I do a forum search and see what other gamers have to say about a particular guide. This is ok as well, but it is a little tedious and takes a lot of time. If there are no threads about a particular guide, I might register and ask about the wow gold guide to see what kind of feedback I get. This too takes a lot of time because the response is usually slow. This is because the vast minority of gamers don’t have World of Warcraft gold guides and wow power leveling tips.
Because of the difficulty that I had in finding good reviews and opinions of World of Warcraft gold guides I created site that will hopefully prove useful for other WoW gamers who had as much trouble as I did. Wow gold Guide Database goes a long way to shortening WoW gamers search. On the site are reviews by owners of the wow gold guides you might be considering, they are reviewed by gamers themselves without editorial input, that way the reviews are unbiased. I hope wow gold guide database comes in handy. Good luck!

Well, right, this method is also fit for those who wanna search some cool wow power leveling guides. Surely, if you wanna jump levels in a short time. This way is not adoptable any more, you should make another measure. I have two suggestion. One is that if you wanna experience another life, you can abandon the current account and buy another new, but I like few gamer would agree to this idea. Then the other is to buy wow power leveling service online. Yup, you can get the service from us, we not only provide wow gold, but offer power leveling service. You can get what you wanna with the most competitive price and fastest delivery from us. Why hesitate? Come here and get your cheap wow gold and wow power leveling service now.

Grind Quick WoW Gold in Northrend

June 15th, 2009

Huh, we know that WoW Gold is always a concern for every World of Warcraft player whether it’s for a flying mount or for an epic piece of gear, gold is without a doubt the most crucial component in WoW since it first released. Here now, Maybe someone would recall the topic WoW Power Leveling, ok, but today we are talking about gold.
While there are hundreds of time tested methods of making gold in WoW perhaps the funnest method is grinding. I know, grinding doesn’t sound fun at first, but when you start to see your bank account grow at a ridiculous rate the fun really starts to build up if you would grind some rather than buy Cheap WoW Gold from the online stores.
So if you really like to do it yourselves and wanna to experience a different feeling, I would like to tell you something about how to grind more gold in WoW. Well, the key to grinding out WoW Gold in Northrend, as well as any other zone, is to find an area with the following:
1. Mobs that carry gold. Generally humanoids are the best
2. Mobs that drop a variety of items. From grey items to blue items everything in Northrend is worth something. Even a lowly grey broken sword will get you 2-3 gold and if you can get 5 of those in less than 30 minutes that’s an easy 15 gold on top of everything else you’ll get.
3. Mobs that can be killed quickly. This usually is more of a level issue, a good rule of thumb is to go at stuff that is three or four levels below you. The reason you do this is because it’s easier to kill large groups without taking on to much damage and downtime.
4. Groups of quickly regenerating mobs. The faster they respawn the quicker you can kill them and take their Cheap WoW Gold.
Keeping these four things in mind perhaps the best grinding spot for quick gold in Northrend can be found just south of Venomspire in Dragonblight. The area is chalk full of humanoid mobs and they are of a relatively low level.
Grinding for gold in WOTLK doesn’t have to be a horrible experience especially if the rate of return is very high. This is just one grinding spot and one method of getting gold in WOTLK, there are many more out there some of them returning a much better rate of gold per hour. Happy hunting.

Moreover, if you are tied of grinding, you can Buy WoW Gold from us, spend a little money and a short of time, then you are go back to the game. In this way, you can get to the destination and level up fast than those who are still using WoW Power Leveling Guides to rising through levels.

Aion Closed Beta 2 Begins June 19th!

June 10th, 2009

Well, have you got that Aion Closed Beta 2 would Begin on June 19th!

In a post to the Aion beta forums, EU Community Manager Ayase has announced the start date for their next phase of beta:

The event is scheduled to start Friday, June 19th (9:00 PM CEST, 8:00 PM BST, noon PST) and to end on Monday, June 22nd (8:59 AM CEST, 7:59 AM BST, Sunday 21st 11.59 PM PST). In CBT2 we will want to focus on the very first area of Asmodae and have therefore set the level limit to 10, primarily to make sure it’s properly run through, but also to allow testers to stop and perhaps smell the flowers more, to dive into the quests and quest texts more carefully and to better explore the arch-classes. More information will come shortly and more aion beta events are definitely set to arrive in the future, so stock up on those canned beans (okay, maybe something else) and stay tuned!

more news about Aion Closed Beta 2 will be here for you. Fine, we possess plenty Aion Kina here, come here and get some if you need it.

WoW Power Leveling Guide For Warlock in WotLK

June 10th, 2009

I know there are lots of newbie who have some acquitance with wow classes, but they all do not them well. So here I wanna tell you something about one of wow classes, warlock, especially the wow power leveling guide for it. Warlocks are a very good class to play with, due to their extraordinary damage and survivability. Besides, their pet will give even more control over their damage. After level 20, a well played warlock will never run out of mana due to the effective use of life tap and other talents. Warlocks have the ability to solo quests, which normally requires group. Read on to find out the best talent build for a warlock!
Talents
The main purpose of this warlock wow power leveling guide was to reveal the best available talent build for warlocks, because it is really hard to choose the most effective one for leveling. A good talent build for leveling is focusing on damage rather then defense.  So, I think the best talent tree is the Affliction. The primary intent of this build is to maximize your mana efficiency while keeping a really high DPS up. This will allow you to continue killing without stop. The first talent you should pick up, should be the Improved Corruption. Improved Soul Drain will help your mana efficiency, while Soul Siphon and Improved Life Drain will increase your overall effectiveness. Fel Concentration is one of the best talents in the Affliction tree, as it will allow you to ‘drain-tank’ your enemies. This means, that you find a target, apply some DoT damage (Corruption,Curse of Agony etc.), Lifetap to regain the used mana, and Life Drain your target until its death. The next talents should be the Grim Reach and Nightfall. Siphon Life is yet another great talent, as it will help your damage and mana efficiency even more.  Finally, at level 40, you will get the best talent in the affliction tree: the Dark Pact. This talent will allow you, to use your pet as a mana pool: you will be able to transfer your pet into mana. At this point, virtually, you will have unlimited mana!
If you enjoy leveling, then I recommend you to stay away from wow power leveling guides as they will instantly catapult you to level 80. But, if you want to get level 80 as quickly as possible, I recommend you to check out the best warlock leveling guide. Actually, nowadays, there is no longer a warlock wow power leveling guide, as all the good automated guides, cover all the classes.
